"The food was great. I ordered the deluxe club and my wife ordered the spaghetti with meatballs. The club sandwich was more then I could it. And the spaghetti was a nice large portion. The meatballs were home made and size of a baseball. The service was a little slow but it was kinda nice. It gave us time to enjoy the appetizer. Will definitely go back again"

after the arrival I was dropped off from the empty where the old server stood earlier. If I were a new customer, I wouldn't be sure we'd sit or wait to sit. a sign up would really tie it together. after a few minutes we showed a nice lady on a table and we sat on order. the drinks came out immediately and the server was friendly. I tried a favorite of me when it was the ruskin diner, chicken and waffeln. eating came out briefly and honestly I was a little disappointed. the traditional chicken pliers part of the chicken and waffel was replaced by a 4 piece bone in the chicken. if they will do that a side panel for the huh would not be the worst idea as the sirup the huh has on it, the huh mak...
Yikes! I will never return! This place is just as bad as the Ruskin Diner was. We had to wait a long time just to find a seat, which I can handle since I’m patient, but after placing our order, we had to wait another hour. I was getting really hungry, but I tried to be understanding. When the food finally arrived, it was just bacon? They served broken eggs and hashbrowns along with it. The portion looked small on the plate, and everything was cold. Worst of all, the hashbrowns were terrible! They were cold and sprinkled with paprika—really? Just give me salt!
We had a fantastic experience at this new restaurant featuring great local cuisine. The menu was extensive, and the service was excellent. The quality and quantity of the food exceeded our expectations for a diner. My partner enjoyed the fish served over yellow rice, while I had the chicken marsala, which was the best I've ever tasted. It was so tender that it practically melted in my mouth. The owner, Moe, took a few moments to chat with us; he was very kind and professional.
This is the Old Ruskin Diner. They are currently serving meals amidst renovations. Unfortunately, after waiting 30 minutes for our order, the food arrived cold. Additionally, the menu has changed, and approximately 75% of the food options are no longer available. We sent our meals back, and they were returned to us from the microwave. It's clear that this new ownership needs to make some improvements, as we, the Ruskin community, will not accept this level of service.
