Joe's has undergone many changes over the years. My first visit was in 1994, and back then it was a great spot to enjoy drinks and play pool. The last time I was there, they were in the middle of a remodel. Now that I'm back in town for work, I decided to pay a visit. I started with a cold beer and ordered the chicken-fried steak, loaded baked potato, and onion rings. The onion rings were tasty and the batter on the chicken-fried steak was delicious. The loaded potato was indeed loaded, but it wasn't very hot, so I asked for it to be reheated. Overall, the meal was filling and the service was friendly. Joe's is a good place to grab a beer and a little something to eat.
not sure how this place gets more than the only star I give. Eating was only moderate. steak was over boiled and hard. CFS-Grotte was a blob on a pretty decent roasted steak, but the kartoffels were sticky and tasteless. the burgers were delivered at the table next to us and were only sad. the service was polite, but so slow. idk if it were today only the cook, but I wish I had just gone to mc donald.
I participated in The Kenny Bostic Memorial arm wrestling tournament and had a great experience. The food was good, the drinks were excellent, and the people were fantastic! Can't wait for next year! ????????????????
The staff at this restaurant is absolutely fantastic. The bartender, Riley, is a great guy. My colleagues and I dined here for 4 or 5 days in a row and thoroughly enjoyed every moment.

This is by far the best fish and shrimp I have ever had from a restaurant. My apologies to anyone who missed out! Absolutely delicious!
