Of course, as it should be in a Michelin starred restaurant, the dinner we had was very good. The entrecote, ordered rare, was, as often the case in Germany, more towards medium. (One should perhaps forget ordering rare beef in Germany. We arrived at 19:00 hours and so it takes a while before everybody finishes a five course dinner. We were very surprised that at around 22:00 hours personell started to clean up the place, making quite some noise. We startet feeling a bit rushed. As if we were not welcome anymore. But we could not help it as the last course had not even been served. We left after 23:00 hours. The waiter was a very friendly person with a lot of wit.
For the frist time in my life I just drop in on a Michelin Star restaurant . We where profesjonally met and the waiter gave us a table on the terasse. Even we only ordered one course and desert we where threeted very personally by the staff. And the food was marvelous, superb, fantastic in both taste and visually. Very good description given for every plate. The star is very well earned.
Excellent service, composition and presentation of food superbe. Wine pairings with 6 course menue were exceptional.
