Had an awesome breakfast from Happy Hen! It was my first time here. I ordered and picked up right on the spot and got to enjoy looking at their cozy Christmas decor in their dining area. Benny, one of the owners is amicable and so welcoming. Food was ready quickly! Pancakes were fluffy and delicious. Eggs and bacon were awesome too. Menu has so many delicious and different options to satisfy any craving. I can't wait to return with family and friends. They have a big dining area with fireplace. Big bar with seating area, perfect for entertainment and hosting a party. There's also a private room! Wishing Happy Hen Cafe much success! Well deserved. Looking forward to visiting again soon.
My wife and I had an Amazing time here recently. Paul was our server in the lounge provided us excellent service. This place pours you a real taste of beer if you're having trouble choosing.The wine flights were so delicious too. My favorite food item was the mini Filet sandwiches pretzels beer cheese. Frederic came buy our table made us feel like family. His wine knowledge great demeanor was that little extra that took our experience over the top! I noticed he made his way around the place to make every guest/table feel special! We'll definitely be back soon. Really chill atmosphere, wonderful staff, of course great food!!! beautifully impressed by this suburban hiding place! I don't know how popular john tony is (there were only three more customers on Tuesday night I visited), but would say that the quality vs. worth is top class and a visit worth! menu and bar selection is small, but let us get in front of us, they go for a good steak and their old ny strip is a winner. perfectly cooked and simply buttery enough to pop. fresh grilled vegetables on the side we are delightful rich, and both fries and salad over par.
The service at the bar was exceptional. Our food arrived promptly, was delicious, and beautifully presented. The drinks were flawless. We, two gals who can be quite discerning, have no complaints at all. We enjoyed bruschetta and saganaki as appetizers, and for the main course, we had the lobster ravioli with vodka sauce. Our drinks included piña coladas, a chocolate martini, and a pomegranate martini.

We were very happy with the lunch we enjoyed at the Happy Hen this week. Although this restaurant is near and convenient to us, we have hesitated to stop by because it has changed identity frequently and we weren't sure what to expect. We were pleasantly surprised lovely makeover, great service and good food. We are excited to return!
Very recommended! I'm glad we stayed and waited for a table Saturday night. Our waiter (Nate? Because we were so busy, all our foods came in order and right. Everything was delicious! From soup and appetizer to the main course and dessert! We'll be back.
Its a quiet little place off North avenue, their food is delicious, my favorite is the breakfast quesadilla its the best one i have ever tried so far! I love that the atmosphere is quiet, it makes eating more enjoyable. The staff is very kind.
