We went to Carino’s tonight for the first time after moving here 9 years ago. Every single thing we ordered was excellent. The crispy roasted garlic in olive oil that is served with the bread was so good, as was my Grilled Chicken Jalapeño Alfredo Ravioli. We had zero complaints about the restaurant and wait staff (Nathan was our waiter and he took very good care of us. That said, restaurants need to remember that the first impression a person has upon entering that restaurant is the person that greets you and seats you. First let start with the fact that the moment I seen the Carino's sign i was already sold cause the place looks so beautiful. Now as a last min date night with my girlfriends we found our way right to Carino's. We were seated ASAP and our waitress was so helpful an kind. After alittle skimming of their menu we ordered the best of meals I choice the $20 deal of any 2 choices they had quite abit to choose from but my heart called for the steak and eggplant which also came with spaghetti and a house salad. Oh wow. I'm very surprised. It was super delicious. I had the chicken bowtie festival and added, mushrooms and peas, what an amazing flavor. Something about that extra pop of sweetness the peas gave the sauce, hit the spot. I'm sad this place isn't busier. Service was great, they were super friendly and kept asking if we needed anything. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars was because it was kind of warm in the restaurant. We would get a cold wave every now and then. Don't know if their AC wasn't functioning... I will return anyways.
Always good food. Our waitress was excellent, even with them short handed. To the management's credit,seating was restricted due to lack of warm bodies. Speaking of warm bodies, probably the only warm humans in the restaurant were cooking. The heating system was broken, and had been for several days. The missing star is due to COLD! Let your customers know before they are seated that the building may not be comfortable.
