Our dinner was excellent. I was rather disappointed with the dessert, banana foster. It came in a bowl and very soupy. For the price, didn’t fit the other food. We were very disappointed when we had our food packed to go, we had a veal chop, which had a lot of meat still left on it. They did not pack it and threw away. The waiter even made a joke could get out of garbage. When you have such a large meal, you cannot expect to finish, and you hope to the home to enjoy the rest. We did not get that opportunity. Overall, good experience but now don’t think will try a 2nd time.
Lousy disappointing experience. Will not go back. Service was rush, rush leaving you wondering what the hell, aren’t we the customer? One of us asked if our eggs could be done a certain way like over hard instead of over easy and we got a very quick firm NO. Terrible waste of time and Money. Expensive IE. 3 normal size shrimp Cocktail $19.00….
The angel hair marinara with veal meatballs was very bland not very flavorful. The mussels were less to be desired as they were very small some didn’t even have the mussel in the shell. Our waiter was very good, took the right action deducted our angel hair dishes off our bill. The atmosphere was good.
This was our first experience at Johnny's downtown and we will be back. Restaurant week lead us to try your osso bucco and it was absolutely delicious. The peppered duck breast was wonderful and had a delightful sauce.

Beyond mediocre, unsure how this place had been around for so long. Spend your money elsewhere.
Food was very average considering the price. Had to use a knife to cut into my veal.
