A chippy of old, sailing in a sea of sunken wannabe chippies and the recent emergence and scourge of the seas the 'Nouveau Fish and Frites ' pretenders (luckily only found the Northern burbs and Cottelsoe). Albeit owned by Chinese, who understand that it’s important to have white faces on the counter in non-Asian establishments. I know not very PC, but it’s true. Anyway quality of fish is always fresh (non-fishy) either fried or grilled (healthier), and the chips are spot on in portion size and flavor. My local chippy these past 20 years.
After reading all the great reviews, decided to try Johnny's fish and chips.<br/ Nice clean and quirky shop. Polite staff, with eftpos available.<br/ The single serve of fish and chips was great value at $11. The fish was nice and firm with a lovely light batter, chips were perfect and not too oily. <br/ Will be back <br/
The Lucy Jucy, burger with lots cheese inside the beef patty.<br/ 3 words to describe : YUM, CHEESY, BIG.<br/ <br/ Cheese and bacon french fries. Burger's best friend is fries, isn't it? It a mandatory to order this since the burger doesn't come with any french fries.
Without a doubt the best fish and chip shop! It can get busy (because everyone knows how good it is) but 100% worth the wait. Have patience and it will pay off! Highly recommend the grilled fish

The fish (snapper) was very nice, we had both grilled and battered fish. We would have liked for the chips to have been more salted.Price OK.
