John's Pizzeria is located in the heart of Time Square. The location was a former church. How cool is that?! The location keep most of the structure including the beautiful stained glass windows. We were quickly seated and greeted by our waiter. We started off with cocktails, which included a Tony winner (margarita) and a mudslide. For dinner, we ordered a small pizza which was perfect for my husband and I. I thought it would be too much, but since NY style pizza isn't too thick inhaled it. The diameter of a small is 14 inches and large is 16 inches. We saw another table with a couple of two finish a large pizza. Definitely possible!

I visited this restaurant while in NYC after a street vendor recommended it. The location is tucked away between some theaters, and although it’s large, it felt somewhat empty and had a musty odor rather than the inviting aroma of food. The pizza was actually quite good; I’ve had experiences at some places in Texas that were just as good. The sauce on the pepperoni pizza was particularly delicious. As for the pasta, my wife and older son thought it was just okay; I wasn’t particularly impressed. Our server was friendly and attentive, but overall, it was just a satisfactory experience.
Heads up: Bathroom was extremely dirty so we don't recommend using it unless you have to. Everything we got was so delicious! It is more on the pricier side since it's Times Square, but the ambiance is quite charming and food is amazing. Calamari was $20. Pizza is $25 for a large. With 2 toppings, our total was around $70ish including 20% tip. Our server was friendly, helpful, and nice. If you need to charge your phone, you can do it here while dining if you're seated near a wall outlet. We did enjoy our visit and will recommend this place to others.
Update: Since the manager who wasn 't there that evening or at least not at our table responded to my review... there was no email to respond to...I didn 't email you. You quoting my friend about being embarassed by my outburst , shame on you for giving misinformation. I was sharing my experience, which I can do here...that is the whole purpose of writing the review. You don 't have to try and shame me...just keep it moving! Book a table now
We visited on Saturday night around 8:30 after a long day in the city, and I was pleased that we were seated promptly. The pizza was delicious, with very fresh toppings, and the thin crust had a homemade flavor. My husband and I shared a small pizza and a house salad, which was enormous! It was more than enough for both of us. The restaurant is located in an old building, adding to its charming atmosphere.
Absolutely, pizza in New York is a must! While we were in the Times Square area, we couldn't resist trying this popular pizza joint, which was conveniently located near the Times Square subway station. We ordered a small pizza, which offered two slices each for our party of three. It turned out to be a great choice for a family meal before heading out to explore Times Square.
The ambiance of this place is awesome, it's an old church and feels like you're in Italy. Pizza is great and the chicken parm was good. Service was also excellent. We had:Buffalo chicken pizza- 5/5Pepperoni pizza- 4/5Margherita Pizza- 3.5/5Buffalo chicken wings- 4/5Calamari- 4/5Chicken parm- 3.75/5
All around a good pizza, great garlic knots/rolls (I forget what the call them, it it's a cheese filled roll with garlic). It surpassed my expectations, it's in a tourist area, but worth the visit. Book a table now

"Amazing NYC-style pizza! The best part is that it truly tastes great. Unlike some places that prepare their pizzas in advance resulting in greasiness, Pizza And makes each pizza to order. Plus, it’s very affordable! Service: Dine-in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $10–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5"

"We visited this restaurant for drinks and had a great time. The view was amazing, and we loved the cocktails. While it wasn't cheap, I believe it was worth it. This rooftop bar is the best one I've been to in NYC."
