A coworker requested Jollibee chicken, so during lunch, I ordered a 3-piece chicken and rice meal for takeout to bring back to work later. Around 11:30 am, I waited 20 minutes for the order, which came in a paper bag without a handle. Given that I had another 2 hours in the mall, I spotted other online order bags with handles and asked the front desk for one.However, I was informed that those handles were exclusive to online orders and was offered a handle-bag for 10 cents. I appreciate that they use plastic straws and bags. Personally, I prefer plastic or plant-based straws over paper ones, which tend to get soggy. The plastic bags are also incredibly handy, as they effectively contain any spills from sauces, juices, or drinks—much better than flimsy paper bags. I’m really grateful to Jollibee for maintaining these options! Plus, the bags are free here, unlike the Jersey City location that charges customers for them.
