Only 2 staff rushed off their feet trying to deal with all the customers. When I finally got served and wanted to pay straight away to avoid queuing once more they had a self-service payment system something like what they have in supermarkets. It didn’t work so the staff were getting frustrated having to take payment through the till. By the time I sat down I was so stressed I couldn’t enjoy my coffee which wasn’t particularly good anyway. I had been to this cafe in Jan 2019 when I had a fantastic experience. They’ve stopped doing the gluten-free cakes too. Must have changed management.
We were out on maritimo in Arrecife when a rather agressive rain shower interupted us! This pasteleria was the closest place to seek refuge and have a coffee until the rain had passed. It was a lovely diversion! Spain is not exactle renouned for its cakes but this place had a decent selection and served great coffee too. Take away is a major part of their trade and their bocadillos looked wonderful- freshly made and deep filled. Efficient and friendly staff.
The service is excellent here with a wide choice of cakes and sandwiches. The coffee is great as is the Heineken beer. They also do a very good take-away service; we took sandwiches to the airport for the return journey, which were well wrapped for the journey. Recommended if you are in the centre of Arrecife.
I was having a coffee with a friend and after a few minutes the owner came asking us to put the mask on or leave I was shocked and asked him why and he said that I was maintaining the coffee for longer time It was weird as he was talking in a bad way especially when he heard us speaking in Arabic

Nice bar right on the Sea Front, not too badly priced 2 lg wheat beers , 2 bottles of water €12.. Been here before and must say the staff inside are always shouting while working it's like a factory cafe lol. But it's still worth a visit.
This cafe is opposite the bandstand on the coast at Arrecife. We had a salmon and cheese sandwich and a tuna salad sandwich both with cappuccinos. Very swift service. All food and drinks served immediately by very nice staff.
A very good location, this is a place for coffee and soft drinks after the walk along the front. Charcos restaurants just around the corner, and the old fort opposite. It os located almost opposite the miramar Hotel.
I’ve never been humiliate while having coffee with friend!? Simply because the owner heard us speaking Arabic and he decided to ask us to wear the mask while sipping my coffee I will never be back there
