It 's definitely the best service, food and ambiance I 've experienced since relocating here five years ago! We were greeted warmly and seated right away. Our server, an older gentleman named Luis, was attentive without being intrusive, professional yet friendly, and incredibly knowledgeable! He brought us hot, fresh rolls with whipped butter that were fantastic. We ordered our drinks and a Seafood Platter appetizer, which included calamari rings, breaded shrimp, and crab-stuffed mushroom caps. All three were so delicious that I feared I wouldn’t have enough room for my entrée! My husband ordered the Scallops Lobster Tortellini, and it must have been amazing because he got lost in his meal and became quiet as he savored it! My niece and her fiancé were in town for a few days, which included Valentines Day. Having a number of positive experiences there, encouraged them to go to Joseph's. After looking at the menu they agreed it looked great. However, they discovered when they arrived that the Valentine's Day menu was completely different and did not include fillets, which is what they had wanted. There was only one steak on the menu and it was a much more fatty cut than what they wanted. Which is crazy, since Joseph's is known for their fillets. My husband and I had such an amazing experience at Joseph's Fine Dining. The atmosphere is so intimate and warm. The food is absolutely devine! We ordered a steak medium rare, and it actually came out perfectly cooked, which hasn't happened at other restaurants for a VERY long time. The wine is fabulous, and they have a very extensive wine list as well. Our server Luis cleared our table for each course, which was something that we hadn't seen for years at other restaurants. This was probably our favorite dining experience in Colorado Springs. I had the Chilean Sea Bass special (pictured) and he had the Scampi Genovese. Both dishes were spectacular! It had a perfect crunch to the outside from searing and it was almost buttery on the inside. I had the 8th Street cocktail and it was like an elevated margarita. Delicious! Apparently reservations are typically necessary, but we went on a Monday night and it was just us and another couple. It doesn't get more romantic! Go to this place!
After my meal, the owner and what I believe was his wife came over with a chocolate cake and a lit candle, wishing me a Happy Birthday. I was the last customer in the restaurant, and they never rushed me; they simply let me savor the moment. As I was leaving, the owner gave me a hug, and I left with tears in my eyes. I've never had such a heartfelt experience; it truly felt like being with family. Thank you both for making my birthday so special! It was truly wonderful!
I'm not sure where to begin. From the moment I walked in, I felt incredibly welcomed! Valorie provided outstanding customer service. Mr. Louis also delivered exceptional service. The atmosphere is fantastic, and the food is cooked to perfection. This is truly the best restaurant in Colorado Springs!
