This was the first time we had visited this restaurant. My wife and I had lunch with two friends and chose from the Menu del Dia at 12.50 euros a head (wine not included). The meal started with a free amuse bouche a chick pea and cabbage veloute with a purple crisp which tasted far better than it sounds! This was followed with a very tasty seafood soup and delicious warm bread. main course was a roasted quail with vegetables. We chose different desserts but we were all very pleased with them chocolate tart for my wife, mascopone cream with strawberry confit for our friends and poached pears in a delicious home made caramel sauce for me.
