I just ordered the Spicy Pork Teriyaki with white rice, which also came with a small salad. The total was $20.55. I was disappointed with the portion sizes, as there was much more rice than meat—about three-quarters rice to one-quarter meat. It's worth noting that lunch and dinner portions are the same, but dinner costs more. While the dish tastes good, the meat portions are the same for both lunch and dinner, which seems unfair.
Absolutely delicious! I checked out the reviews and decided to give it a try. The cashier was really friendly and recommended the combo, which was definitely worth it. I just wish there was a location in Wisconsin because I would drive back down here just for this restaurant. I even had leftovers—they were so tasty! Thank you! Food: 5/5
The teriyaki here is fantastic! I've been visiting Joy for over a decade, even when they were in Glendale Heights. The portion sizes are generous, and the service is quick. Although the prices have increased quite a bit at their new location, the quality and size of the meals still make it worth it.
The owner was extremely friendly and recommended a salad dressing that paired perfectly with the don katsu—absolutely delicious! The food is great, and there’s more than enough to take some home—so you definitely won't leave hungry. It's mainly a self-service setup, so don’t expect any points for service.
