Pros: Huge portions. I ordered a kiddie and am pretty sure I received a half pint. Fun monthly flavors (Pandan and Ube this month) Cons: Haven 't found a flavor I 've really liked yet... Salted Caramel Cookies 'n ' Cream (Kiddie for $4.47) Marketed as salted caramel ice cream with crushed cookies, but it was more like salty cookies cream ice cream. I was hoping there would be a caramel swirl but alas there was not.
JP Licks is an overall decent ice cream spot with tons of locations in the Boston area! The ice cream isn't super rich in my opinion, and that does hit the spot sometimes. Since they're just about everywhere you can stop by easily. I got their pumpkin custard and enjoyed it although I do wish there would've been some sorta crunch in it!
In this place I didn’t see respect towards costumer. Ordered an ice cream cake. Waited for half an hour for them to write something short on it. After waiting for 30 minutes I decided to give up and request a refund but they refused. Got home with the cake only to find out that they wrote in white (the cake was white)….
This restaurant is definitely a favorite among locals in town! It is always busy with people either hanging out outside the main store or lounging inside. Friendly staff, let me sample some flavors before I decided on a scoop of pistachio ice cream. It ended up being more than the cost listed on the menu board (maybe because it's a gluten free flavor? which was a bit annoying that it wasn't listed but it tasted great so I was happy.
Rich the manager went out of his way to help me . A real pleasure. Turned a machine on for soft serve that was off then straightened out my rewards account 5*
The non-dairy ice cream at this restaurant is excellent! They offer a variety of flavors, including coconut and oat-based options, catering to all tastes.
Terrible, awful service, aged and sexist. Not a lot for vegans Extremely disappointing to see in Newton. Also super expensive. Never will return. Book a table now
Flavors are always really good. If you’re there this summer, try the Cinnamon Toast Crunch flavor. Their cereal flavors are always amazing.
