I LOVE THIS PLACE! I've been a loyal customer since Jim first opened his Deli on Mendon rd next to the salon I was working for at the time in the 90's!!! The smell of awesomeness used to literally come through the walls and by lunchtime, I couldn't wait to see what he was creating next! Now, 25 years later...he has PERFECTED his sandwiches...he uses Boars Head, so it's a little pricier....but WORTH IT!!! Order a special, and you will see! His homemade stews, soups, desserts are good too! Rice pudding! Yummm!
Drove past this place so often before the decision to review them and I am glad that I don't drive further from J's Deli, because this place has brilliant food! From the frits and many other sides and their unique sandwiches, everything I had was very delicious. There is so much that I want and continue to try, and nothing has disappointed. A favorite of me for pickup.
Always good food! So choose a variety of subs. You can also buy Panini to go as well as American chop Suey...and soooo many desserts to choose. The portions are huge with everything they serve. Worth the money! I bought the Pilgrim Sub...Turkey, Stuffing, Cranberry sauce, Munster cheese and Mayo. Soooo good!
Had the kicker and it was great. Totally a shadeable under and super filling. The two women who served me were super friendly and I didn't have to wait too long. It appears clean in it and well organized. I'll go back.
