Edit Not sure if there was a change in management but the quality of sushi was outstanding the last visit. Kitchen foods were okay. Had fish bones in 2 of salmon sushi from omakase. Tuna (akami) smelled fishy out of date. Had high expectation since its operated by Japanese, but NOT worth it at all for this high price range.
Their food is very fresh and delicious. I've been to Jugemu many times and their Omakase was exceptional and their mother's day prix-fixe menu and chirash of lunch menu, green tea tiramisu and shrimp tempura were all very good too. I highly recommend this place as this restaurant is an authentic Japanese restaurant.
I've dined at over 300 sushi restaurants in my life, and Jugemu stands out as the best I've ever visited. The service is fantastic, and the taste and quality of the sushi are exceptional. I highly recommend it!
Dinner is great. Fish quality is high! Want to try oamkase next time at the bar. Rly like the soft shell crab. The tempura udon. Salmon ikura bowl. Lunch the sushi was just okay Book a table now
This is a wonderful restaurant with the best sushi around! The service and food are consistently excellent. We're fortunate to have it in Cresskill!
