Absolutely a wonderful little hole in the wall place to visit! I immediately was greeted by staff as soon as I stepped through the threshold of the the door. There were 2 menus to choose from one consisted of drinks and the other of the foods available. I specifically was looking for a place with crepes and I was not disappointed! After staring at the menu for several minutes I ordered the Forest Berry Crepe. The food came out so fast I barely had enough time to get myself a water and sit down at the table outside and my order was already being brought out to me! Extremely fast, friendly service! Just a beautiful little cafe to visit and I will certainly be back to try other items on the men...
I thoroughly enjoyed my chocolate croissant. It was delightfully flaky and light, without being overly airy. The filling featured a rich dark chocolate that was really enjoyable. Despite the restaurant being overwhelmingly busy, the staff were friendly and attentive. One downside was that the outdoor tables could have been cleared and cleaned more frequently. However, the bustling crowd was due to a large party of nearly 20 arriving at the same time. The prices were reasonable, and the food was served promptly. Overall, it was a very pleasant experience.
Edited on 4/8/2022 So, i just removed a star. It took unusually long. When It got here, they had my order messed up. I asked for no of something, yet it came with extra! So they had to take it back, make me a new one, and I 'm still waiting. Original review below. A good crepe place its hard to go wrong. A nice assortment of sweet and savory. Lots of pastries to choose from as well. We had the Californian and the Turkey Pesto. Both very filling. And yes, we will be back. And maybe theyll get a 5th star then.
I tried this place for the first time and ordered two crepes, which were enormous! I was really impressed with the quantity and the quality of the ingredients. However, I would recommend using a bit less egg in the crepe batter or adding more flour, or perhaps cooking them for a little longer. They had a bit of an "egg-y" taste, which made them more like a thin, almost runny egg rather than a pancake. They were flavorful, but this did impact the texture. Overall, I would definitely order from here again.

This is one of the top places for pastries and crepes in town. We arrived early to secure a good table for our group of eight. We sampled a variety of treats, including a fruit Danish, a crème brûlée Danish, and an almond croissant, as well as both savory and sweet crepes. The crème brûlée Danish was my favorite. The omelets were also delicious, and the caramel apple crepes were fantastic!
I'm usually a big fan of this place, but my recent experience was disappointing. I ordered a side salad, and as you can see in the picture, it consisted of maybe 12 leaves of lettuce. The balsamic dressing was also clearly watered down; it used to be thick and flavorful, but now it just feels lackluster. Julian, I hope you can bring back the high standards this restaurant is known for!
I had a gluten-free veggie crepe with a side salad for lunch. I was quite pleased with the salad and dressing. However, the crepe was just okay; it didn't have much filling. There were just a few scrambled eggs, two slices of tomato, two slices of mushroom, a few spinach leaves, and some cheese. Overall, it was quite dry.
The Build Your Own Breakfast Sandwich is absolutely amazing! It provides excellent value and features fantastic ingredients. Everything is fresh and delicious. Julian's is definitely the top breakfast place in Folsom!

Cute cafe! Food was delicious, huge pastries, creamy coffee! There's plenty of parking. It was busy but lines went by quick. Super friendly staffs. There's outdoor and indoor dining.
The French onion soup is some of the best I've ever tasted. The crepes are simply divine!
