This place used to be so great. I went often for the breakfast sunrise sandwich. Two women ran this place smoothly. Loved those ladies. Now, under new ownership, they have more people and can’t run the place. Out of a lot of stuff, lost order, my sandwich was missing the tomato preserves, and there were multiple packs of dog biscuits with fuzzy mold. Lady, if you know they’re only good for 3 days then you should know when to pull them before they mold. Won’t ever return. It’s a sad moment.
I ordered a cupcake tower for my daughter’s graduation party. The service was superb. Our cupcake were beautiful! As always their cupcakes taste delicious. Jannet the owner of the Southfield location is personable, I professional and she goes the extra mile. She delivers top-notch service as does her staff. I highly recommend the cupcakes and any services that this location has to offer for any occasion!
I believe this place has new ownership. I came today to get my favorite breakfast sunrise sandwich. It did not have all the ingredients on it. I returned it and it still did not have all the ingredients on it. I also ordered a frappe and it tasted like I was drinking straight milk. I am disappointed as I loved this bakery.
I spotted cockroaches in the display cases at this restaurant! I even posted a video on my TikTok showing them crawling all over the cupcakes. I strongly advise against eating here unless you want to risk getting sick. The video clearly shows how many there are—it's truly shocking! Book a table now
So glad we stopped at this bright spot. The bakery case had us drooling over the abundant and beautiful selection. The place was super clean with friendly service. We would be happy to stop by again next time we are in town.
Pros: clean, friendly and a diverse menu. Great coffees, teas and sandwiches. Prices are reasonable.Cons: The.beat desserts sale out early. Cupcakes with filling are good. The other cupcakes are average at best.
I ordered a German chocolate cake, and it was ready by the time I arrived. This was my first time placing an order, but I will definitely be back!
