I visited this restaurant several times during my week in Solingen.The first day, and it was a monday, the place was completely full.We went back other times, for dinner or after dinner. The food was delicious and the alt bier as well. Once I had a dish of grilled meet, it was huge and I could not finish it.The wok was also very tasty. The apfelstrudel with vanilla sauce was absolutely fantatstic.The atmosphere is very easy going and the waiters friendly.A very nice place for dinner and for relaxing after work.
This is a great place to eat. We came across this by accident as we were staying in a local hotel and decided to explore the location.We were fortunate to have excellent weaher that allowed us to sit outside in an atmospheric environment. The locals clearly rate this restaurant based on the attendance. As a group of three we each chose different dishes and each of us were delighted with the quality and quantity of the meal. Heartly recommend if you are in the area.
One of my favourite places in our region. They have kept up their brilliant service and choice of dishes to please every taste and pocket.Consistant excellence. Quite rare in our declining standards of gastrinomical service.The Solingen-Gräfrath historical market square is on the doorstep and can be enjoyed from their terrace in summer or from their window tables in colder climes.
great food, cozy atmosphere, love to be here and spend a really good time with friends . During daytime try their famous cakes, during or after dinner time try their "offer of the day" together with a glass of good wine or a Bavarian "HB" from the draft. Just bring some time when you enter, this is definetly not a "rush and go" spot. Book a table now
We went there for lunch after reading how good it was. I must say after getting my food (kaffehaus burger) i was disapointed, i would have got a better burger at burger king. It was soaked in cheap barbeque sauce and the salad with it had a very bad dressing. I cant recommend this place
very nice place to drink or eat. The food is very good an not too expensive. The is also very friendly. If you´re in the neighbourhood, make sure to go there.
Historic outdoor terrace great for casual dining with good food and attentive service. Try the California Salad with salmon fish and shrimp.
