Awful. We went 8:00 in the evening for an ice cream. A waitress told us how we reached to sit at the front tables because they close the rest. We waited there 25 minutes and no one came to prepare the table or take the order. Nothing. After all this time a very rude waitress came with glasses and asked us what we will drink. We said we wanted an ice cream with waffle and then she told us that we need to wait at least 2 hours because the kitchen has a lot of work!! I asked them, are you serious, we wait here all the time and now tell us that for an ice we have to wait two more hours,” she said, “I’m sorry”, immediately turned her ruin back to us and left! Speechless!
Had pre booked for birthday breakfast with my Goddaughter and family only to arrive to find they made a mistake with the booking and tried to sit us in the part that smoking is permitted, although told this was not during the day this area was so disgusting from the smell and also the cooking smells like an greasy cafe . I've never experienced such a negative customer service in restaurant. They were unapologetic for their mistake and told us we should have booked much earlier, approx 3 weeks despite the fact others had only only just booked. So cannot comment on food but service and attitude terrible .
Arrived for birthday breakfast only to be disappointed and offended. Not often writing reviews about German restaurants because too many bad reports would seem like I have a problem. The staff in the restaurant were rude and offensive have visited this place before and it would seem it has not changed. As we did not get to sit down I cannot not comment on the quality of the food. However, would I recommend based on this experience and before absolutely not. Horrid.
The food was terrible... unbeatable. The dishes were dirty and the service (in fact the term service is not correct) was the worst I have ever experienced. I'd never go to Schwetzingen coffee house again.
