Had the teriyaki Chicken which was very sweet .Asked the waitress for a bowl of plain rice as the dish was too sweet and her response was Teriyaki is meant to be sweet and another person who was sitting down at a table and was not part of the conversation said “ this is the recipe that’s been used here for years “. This may indeed be the recipe that they’ve used for years but it isn’t any good .This restaurant is not an authentic Japanese restaurant as it was previously. It is Chinese operated so I would say the teriyaki sauce was too sweet compared to a proper Japanese run kitchen.Very expensive for the substandard food and rude service.Won’t be going back .

The sushi train is a Japanese institution. Dishes go round and around on a train and you pick whatever appeals to you. The color of the plates determines what you pay. Prices are reasonable, a meal comes to around $20. You can see the chef making the sushi in front of your eyes. It's easy to keep a rough tally of what you have spent. Kagura is open seven days a week, it's similar to the sushi trains I have dined at in Japan

I enjoy Kagura Sushi House very much. You just take what you need off the sushi train and they will tally the bill before you leave. You only pay for what you eat. Each colour plate coresponds to a certain price level. It's a unique Japanese arrangement. It's a sign of the times, but the sushi train is actually cheaper in Japan that Perth. A good meal should be around $25.

This small restaurant has no toilet for customers. Had the rainbow roll at 15 dollars for 8 slender pieces, fish was fine, however some pieces topped with chewy squid. Ginger and wasabi was old and oxidation had soured taste. Wife had chicken katsu which was again ok, but came with dry and bland curry puffs, sliced cucumber and a underwhelming seaweed salad.
