Kaiserworth - Table reservation

We sat outside in the main Square people watching and had a nice meal.I wanted a Gin Tonic Before meal and that showed up after reminded our waitress 2 times just Before our meal was served!! I had Veal Wienersnitchel w french fries and had 2 mediumsized pieces of meat and was very tender and nice cooked. My wife did choose a whole fish boiled in water and was supposed to be live and kept in the restaurant for cooking and she did have a big whole fish and ate it all so I suppose it must have been very good. Service was a bit slow but some of the waiters was on top and saw us when we needed something! Overall a nice experience in a nice location in an old historic hotel.

This hotel/restaurant is sItuated in the main square of the old town. The building is nice. We ordered cokes and coffee. The coffee was impossible to drink. Disgusting. We complained to the waitress. She was extremely rude while she, in rather high tone, lectured us. In her opinion we were wrong, the coffee was good, newly brewed and we had to pay anyway. When she came back with the bill she lectured us again. She said that the coffee was for sure good and we should have complained at once, not just when we wanted to pay.

lovely spot and if the weather is nice outside on the terrace. Service a bit slow but food was excellent and at the right price considering this was in the village (town) square

Dined here several times. Excellent food and service inside with reasonable prices. Outside was perfect for coffee and cakes in the afternoon. Would visit again.

I highly recommend a meal in the town square in front of the hotel. The food and service could not have been more delightful and delicious.
