This place is about as close as RVC gets to a bodega. Is it going to be an amazing experience? Definitely not, and expecting that would be a mistake. It’s a small shop that sells snacks, drinks, beer, and affordable items. If you’re concerned about the quality of the non-packaged goods, you might want to look elsewhere. I once bought a set of headphones with a mic on the wire while heading to Starbucks to work before I had internet at my place. Unfortunately, the headphones were pretty terrible and didn’t work well; people struggled to hear me over the phone. But I got exactly what I paid for at $8. Kaival Deli is just simply disgusting! Not only does the food taste gross, it even looks gross! Dried out past there prime cold cuts, Mayonnaise and butter that obviously has not seen a refrigerator in days, green slime coming from ones egg sandwich, just to name a few items I've heard from friends and co workers.. I've been in there personally twice, and each experience was a lesson in Food Poisoning! Anybody I know who's been there, has absolutely nothing good to say, and has never been back sense.
I came off the train and grabbed a sandwich there I notice the guy behind the counter was speaking Hindu the whole time and never gretted me or said thank you but that's not the problem.when I opened my sandwich the mayonnaise looked old and the sandwich had an odor I couldn't eat it so when I returned to the store the guy told me come back later he was now to busy to deal with this.its not the money it's the point.i wouldn't eat there again for free.disgusting

Below Average. ....... WAY BELOW ! The last time I had breakfast there, the eggs tasted like they were cooked in rancid butter. Other friends I know have said very similar things about this place. I haven't been back in six months so far, neither has anyone else I know. Nobody needs to get sick on disgusting food like this.....
I wouldn't even classify this place as a Deli. More of a Newsstand/ rural gas station convenience store where the same items have been sitting on the shelves since 1947.
This deli is quite unsanitary. I watched the staff member prepare a bagel, and he didn't wash his hands, which was really off-putting.
This fantastic deli opens early and has a very friendly staff. They have everything you need and more!
