Wow what a gem in Montclair!A lovely ambiance if you choose inside or outdoors. Setting is very nice and modern as well as welcoming. Server was also super sweet and helpful!The server basically suggested everything for us and they were all amazing. My favorite was the gindara black cod so light but flavorful! And the wild mushrooms everywhere was delicious. We came on a Saturday at early lunch time and there weren't many people, so that was also very nice. But I imagine it will pack up in the evenings.Parking is tricky around here but doable. I'd love to come back again.
Skip this overpriced sushi spot. You’d think for the price you are paying you would get great service but the inattentive staff can’t be bothered. Once we put our order in, it was as if we didn’t exist. We had to ask multiple times for water refills and to order more sake. Fish quality was okay, but certainly not worth the price with so many other options nearby
Love this spot. Used to always be packed pre covid. They went through a rough spot with service immediately afterward, but service today was spot on and the fish was amazing. High quality and great service. The sashimi is really on point highly recommend. Definitely our top spot in Montclair.
Great food, they use real crab and it makes all the difference. The nigiri is really solid, melt in your mouth salmon and a wide selection. Every roll we've gotten here has been at least good if not excellent. Excellent sake selection as well. This is ourtreat sushi spot.

It is my favorite place in the Oakland to have sushi ever. They so awesome including The chef waitress, and everybody else that works in there especially sous chef. food is great. The food is amazing. It's a gym spot to eat sushi in Oakland! I love it. Thank you.
You must come and try the world-renowned Brussels sprouts at this restaurant. One of my favorite dishes is the Gindara black cod, and the sashimi is always excellent. The prices for toro are also very reasonable. I love this place!
Ordered off their menu online and was presented with a bill that was about 40% more than advertised when I arrived to pick up. They just shrugged it off…not their problem.. So dishonest.
The sushi made by skilled chefs at this restaurant is absolutely delicious - you'll find yourself going back for more!
