This place is tucked away in the town of Walldorf, but has a gourmet and fancy presentation of food! Unique dishes, all probably worth a try. I don’t eat meat, and there were still plenty of options for me. In season fruits and veggies, fresh usage of cheeses, interesting flavor combos (homemade curry butter! , and a surprise starter from the chef a layered savory gelatin appetizer, in colors of the Germany flag I think maybe he was bored and decided to get creative. ; . If you’re feeling adventurous, give this restaurant a try it’s not the same old same old. Especially if the weather is nice enough to sit on the outdoor patio quiet and quaint.
Knowing what to expect, it is a good choice. I mean, it is a small town hotel-restaurant. So don't expect sizes and amenities of large hotel chains. Rooms I've seen tend to be small. Good quality of construction and furniture, clean, comfortable bed, wi-Fi is decent for working ppurposes (I did not try to stream anything), although the desk was not perfect in size and cair for a long sitting working stint. Restaurant is very good, well attended and quiet to enjoy dinner and a glass of wine. Good choice if you visit Walldorf and plan to spend a couple nights.
I agree with all the points that have been written before me. I would like to emphasise, although this service is exceptional. The staff deserves great recognition. The food is very good and I can recommend it here. If you like large portions, this is your place. Consider that you pay for this quality is not cheap, but I can recommend you eat a meal of two here. Enjoy
The hotel is nice but the room was very hot. The ventilation is poor really. Even with an open window. Breakfasts are fresh, service is nice.
