I came here a few day ago with a few friends. We chose to eat inside, but you're given the option to also eat outside. Inside the music was loud, and it made it a bit hard to talk talk each other. The atmosphere of the place was very nice, with the windows hand-painted and beautiful ceiling decorations. The food was acceptable and tasted good. We ate nachos, elote, enchiladas with mole, pulpo, and chicken fajitas. Overall, we had a good time, but the only problem was the check. We expected the original price, but there was extra pay for gratitude and a fee for usage of credit card. Other than that, I do believe this place deserves it's 4 stars.
I was warmly welcomed as soon as we arrived. There was no wait at all, even though we went on Saturday at 2:00 PM. The cocktails were excellent, and the music was upbeat enough to make you want to dance, yet not so loud that it interfered with our dinner conversation. I ordered a chicken burrito, which was incredible. Our food arrived quickly, and my husband ordered the fajita combo with chicken, shrimp, and steak—he absolutely loved it! While the menu may seem pricey, the portion sizes make it worth every dollar. I’ve already recommended this place to others because I’m eager to try more items from the menu.
The food here is outstanding, and the drinks and music are fantastic. Inside, there’s a beautiful mural and several Instagram-worthy selfie spots. The bar has a great atmosphere, and I absolutely love the passion fruit margaritas. The staff is friendly and attentive, making your experience even better. In the summer, you can sit outside and enjoy the DJ's music. The parking lot can get quite crowded, so it's often easier to find street parking or use the ground floor. Overall, it’s a wonderful place to enjoy a delicious Mexican meal. It's perfect for a girls' night out or a birthday brunch with a small group!
I visited Kandela NYC for the first time with friends, and it was a fantastic experience! The happy hour drinks were excellent, and the lively music created the perfect atmosphere to unwind after a long work week. The food was amazing and very affordable. We kicked things off with coconut mojitos from Clase Azul, which were delicious! The mango habanero wings were a real highlight as well. I can’t wait to return!

Great Restaurant, very nice atmosphere.. At the beginning the music was a bit loud as it was difficult to have a conversation on a big table. A good date spot with music. The food was very good. We had the , MEXICAN Wings, MEXICAN PICADA MIXTA, QUESO FUNDIDO. CHICKEN TACOS all was a hit. We also had the Passion Fruit Mojito and it was excellent..
The food is delicious and fresh. The drinks are worth the money. The atmosphere is colorful and welcoming. Now I know why it's my daughter's favorite place.
The tacos were great, the drinks on point! The micheladas were bomb! The staff was very friendly. Definitely my new spot!
