Ich habe mir die Nr. 30 den Ekmekarasi Yaprak Döner bestellt. Auf der Karte steht Yaprak, was soviel heißt wie Fleischlappen . Der Name und die Speisekarte verrät eine rein traditionelle türkische Zubereitung. Verkauft wird ein Schichtdöner, welcher für 7€ angeboten wird. Ich vermute, dass das Dönerfleisch aus Putenfleisch besteht, da das Fleisch sehr hell ist, wenig fettend ist und eher zart als knusprig ist. Da es Putenfleisch ist, ist vermutlich auch nur Scheibenfleisch enthalten. Ich glaube, dass kein Lamm oder Kalbfleisch enthalten ist. Die Döneportion war groß, das Fleisch wird als Erstes in den Döner gelegt, das Fladenbrot ist leicht knusprig und schmeckt gut, Salat nicht mehr knackig...
Having gone to an Indian restaurant the first evening of our two-day stay in Hildesheim, we chose a Turkish place the second evening, and were very glad we did. Kapadokya is outstanding. We had the Icli kofte, made from ground meat with bulgur, as a...starter. One of our main dishes was the Makamali turlu, aubergines with zucchini, potatoes, and tzatziki. The other main dish was the Adana kebap with pommes and yoghurt. Everything had bright flavors and freshness. The red Turkish wine, Pammukale, was excellent too. Service was prompt and friendly. The restaurant was full of regular customers, all warmly greeted like “family.” We highly recommend this place.

Sehr gutes Essen in authentischer Atmosphäre. Das Restaurant war ausgebucht und trotzdem war die Bedienung sehr freundlich und immer aufmerksam!
Essen war super, der Ayran auch. Der Salat super knackig. Bedienung sehr höflich und schnell. Preise halten sich im Rahmen.
