Authentic Filipino style street food. Tonight's tinono on a stick consists of................. Pork intestines, beef hearts, chicken and beef teriyaki, squid, and a chicken leg quarter. Tinono is an Ilocano word for BBQ. Alan, who is the owner of Kauai Street Meats grew up in a family of good cooks. He's bringing good old fashion Filipino food to Hanapepe Art night every Friday's. Love this Little Place!!! GREAT Food, The Most Friendly People on the island and the most Aloha I've ever known!!! Jennifer and Allen where just Wonderful!! With there Awesome Ribs and Chicken, this is a Must do while in Kauai. Waimea is a Great little town as well, with more SunShine than any other place on the Island... Driving up to Waimea canyon or you're at Waimea town area visit KauaiStreetMeat in front Obsession next to Waimea Big Save Supermarket. They have tasty grilled Kiawe Chicken Plates. They also have cascaron for dessert and Ice Candy. Every Tuesday they have their Tinono (pork) special. Go check them out!!! Say hello to Allan (Owner/chef)
Stop by and try this! Allen's corner stand is hard to spot, but you can smell the mesquite smoke from a half mile away. Cheap prices for a large plate of food. We weren't even hungry, but we had to have some. Quarter chicken with sticky rice and a side. Salty, Smokey, delicious! Great customer service. Nothing fancy, just good eats.
