Needed a quick bite before heading to the Kennedy for the symphony. My friend made a 6:15 reservation initially but due to subway delays we had to push to 6:30. It was not a problem which is always welcome to make changes on the fly. We were seated right away and the place was full. Our server came over immediately and I told him I was gluten-free. They do not have a gf menu but he was incredibly helpful, walking me through every available option and double checking everything with the chef. In the end I was able to order the seaweed salad, which was bursting with flavor and leafy goodness, the tuna cucumber roll, wagyu nigiri and aji nigiri special. I mean, I asked for recommendation, they recommended crunchy shrimp and I picked a few of my favorites as well which is why I think they deserve all 5 stars. I make sushi’s of my own and kinda experienced in that and I loved those, (oh yea, there goes the but) BUT I wouldn’t recommend this place honestly. Sorry to the owner and the incredible chef, the environment is not very suiting in my opinion for the price. I was hoping for a cozier atmosphere. I went there with a date and it was very crowded and we weren’t comfortable which is the only reason I’m giving them 4. Best of luck.??
The restaurant was super accommodating in moving reservations when I called that same day. Ordered the special clam miso soup, seaweed salad (could be shared between 2 people), sashimi moriawase, and a spicy tuna roll. The host was aware it was my brother’s birthday and even sent over a beautiful, complimentary green tiramisu sponge! A delicious, super satisfying meal with a beautiful ambiance that would be great for dining in! All waiters were in masks and tables were distanced enough from each other. Highly recommend!
After having a legit sushi experience in NYC, nothing compares. This was just OKAY. The rice fell apart and was bland, the nigiri didn't have much flavor, the octopus was rubbery. The sake was good tho! And service was pretty good, nothing to write home about. Prob won't come back and will save our money for legit sushi. It tasted not very different than what you order for $10 on takeout.

Great little bistro serving cool and unusual nigiri and rolls! Portion size was a little on the small side, but the taste and quality more than made up for it! I'm not sure if they take reservations. My server was friendly and efficient! I will absolutely go back for another meal while I am in the area.
Sooo good. Definitely one of the best sushi restaurants I've been to. Everything was incredible and the service was quick and helpful. The Matcha Tiramisu, OMG. Not kidding it's the best dessert I've ever had. If you take one thing away from this review it's to get the Matcha Tiramisu.
Came here for dinner with a friend on a weeknight. Service was good and not too crowded inside. Space is cozy and good for quiet conversations. Food was great, lots of sushi options and really enjoyed the miso soup and kokuto ice cream dessert.
Great quality, recommend the KAZ Tasting 0011 just keep the experience going until you're done. Service is pretty slow, at least when we were there but we got what we came for in the end.

tried out every interesting thing on the menu! Haven't splurged in a long time so it's definitely worth it... also love that cherry blossom colored sake set, it's just wonderful
Hands down BEST MISO soup I've ever had!! I had a spicy scallop roll and it was also amazing!
