"The chicken was overcooked and when I asked for it to be redone, I was ignored. Additionally, the staff refused to give me a refund. This behavior was disgraceful. I was charged £8 for this subpar meal and I plan to escalate this issue with trading standards."

I was looking for a different place but couldn 't find it so I opted to pop in to the Kebana. It looks like a workers cafe from the view through the window, with some basic tables and chairs and at the far end there was a counter. The menu in the window advertised all sorts of food, including kebabs, pizzas and Asian dishes. I was intrigued at the Staff Curry which is something I have never heard of before. I took the plunge and went in and ordered what I normally have, starting with two poppadoms and pickles-which arrived as a pot of mango chutney and a pot of chopped onions in a red sauce. I ordered a Lamb Tikka madras with a fried rice and plain paratha and from where I was sitting you co...

I have been eating at this restaurant on and off for nearly 20 years. The staff's English is not very fluent, but they provide a warm welcome. Saj and Riaz are always smiling. The food is simple, sometimes made with curry pastes, and the chicken Madras can be disappointing at times. I have only been here with my brother and friends on rare occasions; it's not a place you would take your wife or girlfriend. The prices are reasonable, with a Chicken Madras, pilau rice, and one chapati costing £8.30. There is a variety of options, including lamb and chicken dishes but no beef. The restaurant is located on Rochdale's own curry mile, similar to Rusholme. They offer both dine-in and takeaway optio...

open to late, but actually if there is something you want, tell people and they will try to get for you. there is a reason that very many locals go here and while there is a small place pizzas as well as the curries and kebabs are recommended for both western and eastern tastes. does not look much, but note that there is a reason that this continues to win custom under a line of franchise positions. do not let them sit down by the '80s style decoration in front of the house in a time warp, they can also want to say that the food is in that the product is not fantasies what is offered.

I have visited this restaurant several times and have also ordered takeout. They excel in preparing Asian-style curries, including a daily special staff curry that is bursting with flavor. The atmosphere is that of a cozy café with simple seating, and the staff is friendly and provides great service.
