This is the 3rd time I've been since they revamped the place. The first time was great but last 2 times have just been bad. Last night we ordered a few appetizers and a couple drinks. (I asked the waitress how much a bottle of beer was) she told me she had to check, so I looked in the drink menu and they were $4.99. Something like that should be known I would think.Our waitress didn't even bring out our food because she was walking around cluelessly trying to look busy, so right away I knew it had been sitting for a while. Friday May 5th our party of 4 kids and 3 adults went in for dinner around 6.30. The place was busy but had empty tables and a number of tables with patrons finishing up their meal. We were told it would be at least an hour's wait, and that 2 parties were coming in later. My daughter, who has been in service work, asked if we could have 2 of the tables available in different sections. The reply was that that would mean 2 servers and 2 bills - not a problem she replied. The hostess then called the manager over, she became quite hostile and said the kids could not sit on their own without an adult. These kids are 11 & 12 years old and know how to behave in public. Our server was a great guy but there was some kind of a screw up and the wait time for our lunch was horrendous. He did give us a free appetizer for our next visit but it's a good thing we were not in a hurry or we would have been furious. As always, the food was great. This has happened many times before and we don't get it. Either they are under staffed or they have the slowest cook in the world.
Visited for dinner while visiting Chatham due to location near hotel. In general the dinner was good ,excellent service. Huge downside was the fries that came with meal, easily the worst fries I have ever had. Noticed another patron return them twice and finally just ask waitress to bring sandwich only. Not sure what made them so bad but needs to be corrected. Book a table now
We visited Kelsey's with our kids so we needed something easy and quick. The service was fine and the food came out in a reasonable amount of time. The food tasted as expected. Nothing exciting. The fries do need an upgrade. I did like the fact that as a gluten and lactose free person that I could easily find something to eat at Kelsey's.
The food here is not good. Overly greasy and tasteless. For a chain restaurant this one really needs an evaluation. Service was slow and the waitress had no personality/ When we requested refills on our beverages she actually sighed and we never received the refill. The prices are outrageous for the quality of the food.
I was at this location over 2 years ago and the food and service was less than impressive. Fast forward 2 years... I think it has gotten worse. 5 separate orders every single one was either burnt or cold. As the old saying goes ... fool me once shame on you... fool me twice shame on me. There won't be a 3rd time.
Looks like this restaurant is fairly new...it's probably the biggest Kelsey's that I have ever been to ...it's an open concept with high ceilings...lots of booths, tables, bar stools etc..very clean and very friendly staff.We had the chicken wings and the chicken Caesar salad...very good! The restaurant was busy, but offered great service and the food quality was excellent. Had a nice children's menu as well
