I really, really wanted to support this small business; unfortunately, my experience was quite was disappointing. The food was not impressive, and on top of that they SCAM people on pricing. The outside menu lists the oxtail at $20.99 and I was charged $35 for 4 pieces of oxtail (mostly bones) and some rice. There is a small sign inside when you order that states $1-2 would be added to menu items, BUT IT WAS A $14 DIFFERENCE. When I asked for clarification, the lady could not explain, shrugged and said taxes . The website is not clear that the place is mostly take-out only with ONLY 1 table outside and no heating element. Y'all need to try their sauce!!!! The food alone is bomb but with their new sauce, it elevates the dish to a completely different level. My friends and I came here for lunch and just wanted something local. We decided to swing by this place and man, glad we made this choice. We ordered the oxtail and the peanut butter soup. Both were phenomenal. The owner (Dougie) pitched their new sauce and made each of the dish stand out even more. You can literally put the sauce on anything. Only downside is this place is currently take out only with one table for outdoor seating but other than that this place is awesome. Food service and good food, will definitely be back!
A true hidden gem. I was looking for something to eat and took a gamble on this spot and it paid off big time. The oxtail and Fufu were great. I intended to enjoy the meal when I got home but made the mistake of sampling the food while in the car. That led to a change of plans. The oxtails were cooked and seasoned PERFECTLY. I consumed my whole meal while in the car so focused on the food I almost forgot about the crazy sauce they sold there. It's named THE SAUCE, that name alone speaks volumes. That sauce is the biz. I got the mild and it was a perfect blend of heat and pepper. I will be heading back there tomorrow to sample a couple more items on the menu.
I SWEAR this place is not good as people review . I order a plate which was extremely greasy to the point where i only took 5 bites before throwing the whole plate away . Straight Robbery from this place . If you looking for GOOD Authentic African Cuisine this is not the place to go to

The restaurant was very chaotic, with the online ordering system not functioning properly. They also didn't allow customers to place orders in person, even though they were aware of the prices of the menu items.
Although the food at this restaurant is quite good, the experience of having it for takeout or to go is disappointing. I was unable to dine in before my flight home and left feeling disappointed as a result.
The portions at this restaurant are generous! I ordered the palava sauce dish, which included smoked turkey, chicken, and rice. It was absolutely delicious, very flavorful!
