Premise, I tend to be very understanding when something goes wrong during a service but this time the experience was surreal and I can't figure out how Kerala has a rating of 4.5! I'm not an expert in the hygienic rules for restaurants in CH but I'm quite sure this place doesn't meet the requirements... Saturday night, 8:30, 10-15 guests seating at the restaurant, we place the order straight away 4 people . After 1h I ask the waiter for explanations, he apologizes but we get the food after additional 30mins. As soon as we receive the meal we realize it wasn't what we ordered, ask for explanations once again and the waiter says that they realized there was a mistake do you wait for me to tell...
We come to Zurich for a short holiday and find this place close to where we stay. From the outside I did not expect this place to be a “fine dining place”. The price is so high for every Indian food I had all over the world. The most disappointing is waiting, we waited for more than 1 hour for our food. In the minute 50, an older gentleman came to explain “we do not use prepared food, that is why it so long”. Well, wait to see how good the “non-prepared food” will be. After all, we have our food. To be fair, they are authentic Indian food, but the Naan was cold and a piece was burned. Maybe what they really want to say was “not well prepared”. And the piece that was burned cost me 3.5 francs...
This is one of the best restaurants for Indian cuisine in Zurich. If someone lacks or wants to try real Indian cuisine, then this is the place where you find taste. Delicious food with good quality and quantity, we really enjoyed our dinner. All employees are very attentive and polite. Our special thanks to Sebastian for his good service.
We just live around the corner and come here regularly. The food never disappointed us, neither the service, and they were always very friendly with our toddler. If good weather and warm, you can sit outside on a beautiful terrace. Very recommended.
