Cleveleys KFC has rarely ever been a great experience with the long queues and closing the shop early when it suits. Have also been avoiding the place with the most recent poor 2 hygiene rating but was hoping that they would have rectified this. I frequently visit this restaurant to grab food before a night of drinking, simply because it is the only option within walking distance of my home. However, the experience is never enjoyable. There is usually only one cashier on duty, even when the line is out the door. The food is never prepared on time, and the staff always seem unhappy. After a previous successful experience ordering from this restaurant during New Year's while in the area, we decided to order again last night. However, this time the food was a disappointment. The chicken skin was burnt and did not taste like KFC at all. The chips were also burnt and some still had the skin on them. The gravy was a thick mess and not enjoyable. Additionally, we did not receive salt, napkins, or cutlery like we did last time, even though we had requested salt, as we were in a self-catering room. It seems like there may have been a change in staff or management, as recent reviews indicate a decline in quality. Unfortunately, we will not be returning.

We decided to give KFC Cleveleys another chance, but once again, we were disappointed. We ordered two adult meals and a kids popcorn box meal through Uber Eats, opting for priority delivery to ensure it arrived warm. However, the driver made three stops, causing our food to arrive cold. To make matters worse, when we opened the bag, we discovered that items were missing yet again. This time, we were missing hot wings and a kids drink. It seems like a simple task to ensure that all items are included in the order. We will now be ordering from the Fleetwood branch instead.
This is the second time my husband has visited the Cleveleys KFC and it was to get lunch for my grandson and himself. They never seem to get the orders right always something missing. Staff need training to check all orders. Would not care if the shop was usy but no one in. Will not be going again unless they start checking orders.
