I visited the drive-thru and ordered the 12-piece meal. The woman who took my order was fine; she did her job, but it felt like she was not particularly enthusiastic about being there. On a positive note, the chicken was fresh and crispy. The mashed potatoes with gravy were delicious, and I appreciated that they kept the gravy on the side. However, I found the mac and cheese to be a bit too salty for my taste.
I wanted to try the new Spicy Crispy Chicken Sandwich to compare it with Popeyes, and I was truly impressed! The filet was incredibly juicy, crispy, and absolutely enormous. The spicy sauce added a nice kick without overpowering the delicious chicken. This sandwich definitely features a much larger filet than Popeyes and will certainly give them a run for their money. Great job!
I visited this KFC yesterday since we were nearby, and there aren't many KFC locations close to us anymore. I waited at the counter for almost 10 minutes without any assistance. One staff member was sweeping the floor while another was on break. I understand staffing shortages are common now, but this was too much. No one even noticed I was there, so I decided to leave.
One of the employees accidentally dropped my cup on the floor and then handed it to me as if nothing happened, probably assuming I didn’t notice. I was in a good mood, so I chose not to say anything. The employee was a dark-haired woman in her twenties, possibly of Middle Eastern descent. Honestly, why would they do that? Book a table now
I ordered a grilled chicken without the bun and opted for salad and tomatoes as my toppings, which turned out to be excellent. I also had a large iced tea. I was really impressed with the grilled chicken; it had great flavor. It's nice to see more low-calorie and low-fat options available in restaurants!
We placed an order for takeout in-store, but when we got home, we noticed the chicken sandwich, all the dipping sauces, and the mashed potatoes were missing. It was very disappointing to discover such a large part of our order was missing once we got home.
