Regretfully, my first time using the on-line KFC App was a disaster. Using the App was easy. However, when I arrived to pick up my order at the Somerset, MA store it wasn 't there. I was informed by Store Manager Adam that they received my order, packed it but was picked up by Door Dash and there wasn 't anything they could do for me. In fact, Adam said, this happens all the time! Talk about rubbing salt in the open wound!! What kind of customer service is that? At the very least, the store Manager could have agreed to pack me my order. But he refused. Only 8 pieces of chicken. How much would that have cost KFC, especially when there was no dispute that they made the error! Had he packed me...
I’ve been a loyal customer of this restaurant since it opened over 10 years ago, and I can honestly say I haven’t had a bad experience—until recently. I have to acknowledge that long history, which is why I didn’t rate them lower.
Unfortunately, my last visit (and it will definitely be my last!) was quite disappointing. I ordered a two-piece meal for myself and my small dog. When I realized they had given me a wing instead of all white meat, I went back through the drive-thru to get it sorted. I was very disappointed with KFC, particularly this location. I used to enjoy their food, but it seems that prices keep increasing while portion sizes are getting smaller. Additionally, when I walked in, I noticed that there were two registers and about seven employees, yet both registers were closed, forcing customers to use self-service kiosks. It's frustrating when minimum wage is rising, but employees are just standing around chatting. It would be so much nicer to walk into a restaurant—fast food or otherwise—and be greeted and have my order taken. It's becoming ridiculous that everywhere you go, it's all about self-service.
I attempted to call for two consecutive days without any response. I had originally ordered an 8-piece crispy chicken but received the original instead. After finally driving back down since no one was answering the phone, I was met with an indifferent attitude. Clarissa, or someone with a similar name, seemed unconcerned and suggested that I purchase another order. We won't be coming back. It's disappointing.

Whenever I go to this location, I run into problems with my order. Most recently, I asked for a chicken sandwich without sauce, and although the girl at the window confirmed my request, it still came out wrong. It’s definitely wise to double-check your order here!
I went in for lunch with my son and ordered the #11 meal, but I like to try new things when it comes to food. I ended up enjoying a chicken strip on a buttery biscuit generously covered in KFC sauce. Thank you!
I'm somewhat disappointed with the ongoing price increases. Moreover, the regular changes to the item numbers on the menu boards can be quite confusing for older customers.
We wanted original but there was only Xtra crispy and it was 1 pm Sun 11/19. It was a 35 mnt wait!! The last batch of reg.was bought at 12 pm. Grrr
