This KFC has serious issues. I ordered a 4 piece tender meal and they told me that I could only have one sauce even if I paid for it. I questioned them about it and they said I could not have another sauce PERIOD unless I purchased another meal. I found this completely absurd. I found out they were lying to me because I checked online ordering. If I placed my order with a computer, I would’ve gotten the sauces, but since I was there in person, they would not allow it. Not sure why…. The food was terrible. The chicken strips barely had any meat and they were over cooked and the Mountain Dew tasted like they filled it halfway with water. Ordered a chicken pot pie as I looked good in the advertising. Should have known better. What I got did not appear as what I received. The crust was good. A gray substance, they called it gravy, was gummy and bland. It had a couple pieces of chicken, a few potato and carrot chunks and no peas. Very disappointed. The restaurant itself was some what clean. Needed a good sweeping to remove crumbs on the floor. And the kitchen appeared to be clean. Much better the the one in Dunedin. Cashier was handling the drive thru and main counter. She was doing her best.
Fresh mashed potatoes and gravy were good and nice and hot. It 's probably the only good thing about my visit. Ordered a 3 piece along with the mashed and only received 2. And they were legs only, that looked like they were sitting there for a while and slightly warm. Lady at the window was unpleasant. She seemed to be bothered when I asked a question. And when given my order, it was a nice here as she pushed it out the window.
We arrived at 4:45pm. Ordered a bucket meal of chicken. The woman states we are out of white pieces right now, do you want all dark pieces? I said no. She said it will be 15 minutes before they are cooked. We waited. While waiting, I noticed that the preparer or cook had long hair and full length beard without an net on either. Our 15 minute lasted 40 minutes. At that time of day when it's suppertime, they sould be prepared.
