This was the worst experience I've ever had at a KFC, both in terms of service and food quality. The staff seemed completely uninterested in the customers waiting to place their orders, and they were slow and disorganized. When I asked a server to repeat herself because she was speaking too quietly, she became quite rude. After finally getting my food, I returned home where my kids were eagerly waiting for dinner, only to discover that half of our order was missing! Additionally, the chicken pieces were disappointingly small—there were supposed to be 8, but it looked more like 4, and 2 of those were mostly skin and breading. When I called to report the missing items, the staff was unhelpful...
I understand how hard it is to find reliable staff willing to work in fast food in this area, but this is pathetic. Just close the doors until you can actually operate this location somewhat properly. I was parked outside the store. Called to see if theyhad an item I wanted that they are always sold out of. Was told they were closed. I then walked into the store and placed anorder while other went through the drivethrough. They never have online ordering turned on, which makes no sense because theycan't staff well enough to have someone who actually knows how to take your order. If you can actually manage to get food, orwhat you want, it's a KFC like all the rest.
I spent $70 at this restaurant, and unfortunately, my experience was quite disappointing. The employee, Alyssa, was dismissive and even tossed our food at us without inquiring if we needed anything. When we asked for ketchup, she simply threw it into the bag. Despite paying for extra chicken, it was missing from our order. When I approached her for forks, she responded with a condescending "Do you need something?" If you're going to hire staff, please ensure they are friendly and attentive rather than rude like Alyssa.
I wouldn't even give the KFC location in Simcoe a single star if I had that option. They truly deserve zero stars. It was absolutely unacceptable to wait an hour for just three chicken tenders and a four-piece combo. While it's not the employees' fault that they're understaffed, management really needs to step in and provide support. The staff could have better attitudes, but I wouldn't be happy either if I were working long hours under such circumstances. Book a table now
KFC appears to be disregarding customer feedback regarding the smaller chicken portions. Many of the servings contain primarily bread and grease, with very little actual meat. The bread was soggy and lacked the flavor it once had. The only standout item in the meal was the coleslaw, which was delicious. On the bright side, the restaurant was clean, the staff was friendly, and the service was quick, so I’ll give it an extra star for those reasons.
I was going to order lunch but the female employee was rushing the gentleman in front of me and then made me feel rushed as well. She seemed stressed out and this turned me off...I was hoping for better customer service from KFC. These are challenging times but customers shouldn't take the brunt of it. Friendly service with a smile is the expectation. I decided to go elsewhere.
I had a disappointing experience at this restaurant. As I was driving through, I asked for some extra salt, but the woman at the window seemed puzzled and asked if I really meant salt. When I confirmed, she handed me a handful of pepper in an annoyed manner. It felt very immature and unprofessional.
When is KFC Corporate going to finally shut this joke show down? They are a complete embarrassment of a restaurant even for a fast food joint. KFC must see how bad of a reflection this location is on them as a brand by now! Book a table now
Placed an online order for 40 minutes past the order time. Arrived at the time I set, and they hadn 't even started making my food as they weren 't sure when you 'd arrive. Isn 't that why I told you when I was showing up?
