The drive-thru experience was very disappointing and unprofessional. The employee was rude and told us to go around the drive-thru to add a side, even though there were no cars behind us and the line was slow. Instead of the 10 pieces of chicken we ordered, we received seven cold, greasy pieces. They also forgot to include the mac and cheese, and when we asked about it, the employee became upset and didn't apologize. The staff definitely need better customer service training and to learn some basic manners!
Normally, I don't have any issues with this KFC as I like to support local businesses. However, today I stopped by shortly after 12 and ordered the number 5 hot wing combo. The wings were drenched in grease and very hot, as if they had just been taken straight out of the fryer. It was clear they hadn't been placed on a tray to drain. I tried calling the restaurant at least five or six times, but the line was constantly busy.
I have to say, the staff and manager are much more respectful and attentive now compared to four years ago. They treated me with kindness and served me quickly. I observed the manager skillfully managing the drive-thru, which brought back memories of my own time managing at McDonald's. Please pass on my compliments and suggest they continue the great work—maybe even consider a raise for them!
I placed an online order and chose the quick pickup option. Although I had to wait a little longer than the scheduled time, everything else was excellent. All my items were included, and the cashier was very friendly.
