Awful staff in the restaurant who think that when it’s busy, the bare minimum effort is required. Asked a member of staff if we could have one of the few available tables free wiped over as they was all filthy and was met with just a look of disgust from the employee for having the cheek to ask. Toilet facilities are so disgusting that diners in the restaurant were warning others not to use them. I have used the drive thru on Ipswich Road 3 times now and all I will say is it definitely wasn't 3rd time lucky. But it will be the 3rd and final visit. The only positive thing I can say about kfc was the young girl that served me was pleasant. The chicken was dry and taste less. It was not particularly hot either. The fries well I have never seen such a misery portion about 10 fries in a bag . And looked sorry for themselves wilted in the tiny bag they came in. I chose Pepsi as my drink not only was it warm it was totally flat with no ice. It was undrinkable. My previous 2 visits to this drive thru were very similar to this one. KFC you really need to up your game.
it is a big greggs and pushes the road and another road in colchester. there are everything they would expect to be really reasonable praises. I think we and our 3 children fed us for 15 pounds. the size of this gregg means that there are seats and we have managed to find space for 8 of us on Saturday. Since it is so long, there is a counter at each end, so if what they want is missing from one end, they try the other.
Ordered 3 zinger trilogy deals when delivered food was cold sides were missing such as gravy,beans,corn of cob. All missing. When I phoned and said I would missing items and I would bring them back. Was told I couldn't do that and to contact just eat directly. Disgusted as this is not the first time. Will not be using this restaurant again.

The chicken was overcooked and tough, while the gravy was overly thick, almost jelly-like. Stanway could benefit from taking lessons from Clacton, as I have never had a bad experience at a restaurant in Clacton.
It took 35 minutes for our order to arrive and when it did, the chips were cold and only half cooked. The service was grumpy and the tables were dirty. The only positive aspect was that the Fanta was okay.
We gave this drive through one note chance. It’s complete abysmal! Beyond slow….., Do yourself a favour and go to a fast food outlet that understands customer service
