SEVEN WORDS: CLASSIC INDIAN FOOD NOUVEAU INTERIOR FANRASTIC BUFFET. . I feel like we 've stepped onto a Yellow Brick Road of Indian Food Goodness Garlic and Lentils and Cardamom, OH My! . We have been here a small handful of times and everything, we 've ordered something new and different from Vindalu to Curry, to Tikka yo whatever else, our dishes gave been ample for the price and we 've always eaten this voraciously. Today, we ordered Goat curry and Malai Tikka. . The order arrived slowly (about 20 minutes), but the waiter filled our table with Basmati Rice Toureens, a Basket of Fresh Naan, our Sampler Plate, Lentil Soup, Heat Curry, and an Entree Dish of Matai Tikka. . First Things First....
we came to kaab when it was aab. I like the direction with which they tried to be more elevated and to create kaab. the ambiente is very cool, eating is excellent as always and the new cocktails are very good. Unfortunately, the service has only gone further. the last two times we were in kaab, there was a server on a Saturday night. I feel like the restaurant would make this server fail and we gave them a second chance, but I will not waste my time with a third chance. we will not be back.
first I don't understand where the 4-5 stars come from. eating was not good at all, tasteless. we ordered from the door dash $104 worth of terrible eating. it has been delivered to a store and they do not even have to put the labor, plastic goods, paper napkins or paperboard. even the chutney was terrible, and how do you screw up? the tear was good, but this is easy to do. cold evil and terrible. I do not recommend this device all!
My first experience with Indian food truly surpassed expectations- staff was kind, space was lovely, and most importantly, all the food was DELICIOUS. I ordered mushroom Mattar by pretty much blindly choosing off the menu and it was incredible. Both myself and the friend I dined with are vegan, and we were not short on options. I can't wait to come back and try the buffet!
