The Kilian is an Irish pub as he can hardly be better. Good food, and I mean really good. Surely rustic, it's not a star restaurant, but that's not what you expect from an Irish pub. The Beef and Guinness Stew is particularly recommended. The Fish'n chips are also looking for you. For me it is important that I get something for my palate, so meat (before Corona there was an Irish rib eye that was good) and for my daughter just a little vegetarian. The vegetarian selection is good and better than so many vegetarian restaurant can offer in the city. Secret tip is definitely the Bread'n butter pudding... you should have tried. Had food while watching rugby World Cup game this afternoon. The special on the menu was Mexican stile burger which I ordered. It was completely bland and almost no hint of Mexican cuisine. I stated that this was not what I had ordered. I raised...this with the waiter and also with the manager. I received no assistance or recompense for the manager on duty. I have attended many Irish pubs around Europe ant this was the first time I have had such an issue and had no joy from management in no addressing my concerns. The waiter was helpful but was unable to help. This is my an establishment I would wish to attend in the future. A big disappointment on a good day for Irish rugby
Very nice staff including the security. Lots of places to go and grab a seat inside or outside, but this is a very popular place so availability is sporadic. We sat outside and ordered food and drinks. The four of us split the chef bast,...mix dip basket and chicken lovers basket. Plenty of food to share. Affordable, too. Not too expensive. While tipping is not common in Europe as much as the US, we generously tipped our waiter for great service
We came to watch an English football game live while in Munich for Oktoberfest. The service was excellent and there were lots of big screens showing a range of matches. The beer and food were ok.However the toilets were disgusting like the worst English pub...on a Saturday night. The pub itself seemed dark and gloomy. Would only recommend for watching sporting events not being shown elsewhere in the centre of Munich

Very close to the Frauenkirche, in summer it is wonderful to eat outdoors, we have reserved a table. We had a small salad, a burger with pommes and to the Apero with cheese overbaked nachos with two different sauces. The service was nice and attentive and the price for it approx. 60 Euro incl. 2 Cola and 2 beer was also okay. Our next visit to Munich goes back to the Kilians.
This is the place to go. A bit unusual to find a really good Irish Pub in Munich, and there was an Australian watering hole right next door. Quite surreal. Appreciate your help with the Bulmers, Brian! Cheers
Athmosphere in the Irish pub also in times of Corona to preserve that the operators have really managed well. Nice operation with good mood despite all hygiene requirements. Thanks and respect!
Very good and friendly service. Just a solid pub, no complaints. Seating was limited due to Oktoberfest, but the server was attentive and kept our pints full
