This place is right opposite the Shedd Aquarium, which makes it an easy and quick pit stop before or after the museum visit. I asked for Vegan Hot Dog which had the ‘dog’ made of wheat. I had never heard of a wheat dog. Usually it’s either soy, tofu or veggie made. Rest of the flavors were okay. What I found confusing in the menu was the inconsistent marketing around the cart. At one place they have mentioned ‘Vegan Hot Dogs’ and at another ‘Vegetarian Hot Dogs’. Vegan and Vegetarian are different, and hence it’s important to clarify which one, exactly, is available. First of all, the hot dog is delicious. I tried to eat it lightly, but I was surprised at how delicious it was. The pickles went into the container. I wondered what kind of pickle they had put in this way, but thanks to the pickles, there was no greasiness at all. It was very delicious.
Delicious Chicago style hot dog!!! Fast service, great price and food is fresh. They speak Spanish and are very kind.
