We have been customers of Kim Phung for years. On north lamar,lake line, and now cedar park. The place looks a bit worn from the outside but do not let this keep you from going in. It is clean on the inside. The food is very fresh and large generous portions. The staff are polite and friendly. This is one of the first pho places in Austin and not a chain. It's really great.
I would give zero stars if I could. I ordered a pork bun with egg rolls via lunch drop. After taxes and fees the meal cost me $18. I received something completely different. When I complained, there ended up being no resolution, I was out a lunch and $18below is what I received for that price.
Kim phung is a pho and bun institution. The original on Lamar was one of my first introductions to vietnamese food years 30 years ago. Have never been disappointed. Tried this one and was equally happy. If you want good reliable vietnamese, give this one a try.
Experience in this establishment was excellent. Food was good and good seasoning in taste. Servers were great! Very attentive in our needs for hosting 16 people. Food presentation was good as well.
