I was a mile up the road in a hotel and took at least 45 for prep, so that's the first negative. Second, appetizer portions are tiny. I ordered the crab Rangoon and Veg dumplings. Parents wanted to treat hubby for birthday so we came to try out this place. So glad we did! They had lunch specials but we decided to order a bunch of dishes so that we could share and try them. Every dish was prepared very well, nothing was too salty and flavors were all great! My favorite were the curry puffs. They were not greasy and were packed with filling! I absolutely love visiting, especially during the spring and summer months, when the decor exudes a lively, summery vibe. The staff is incredibly friendly, and the food is consistently delicious! Be sure to try their lunch special, where you can enjoy an appetizer and a main dish at a very reasonable price. I had the Thai iced tea as my drink, and I chose the dumplings with peanut sauce for my appetizer, which came with a fresh salad. For my main dish, I ordered the pineapple fried rice with shrimp. Some of the best Thai food in NYC if you've got access to a car!Came for lunch on a Saturday, and there was no wait for my party of 3. I tried: Thai iced tea Papaya salad Lunch special with spring roll and drunken noodle Lunch special with massaman curry Coconut sticky rice Mango sticky rice The drunken noodle was perhaps the best I've ever had, and the curry and coconut rice were also perfect. Spring rolls were great, too. They have both indoor and outdoor seating, and service was great.
It is one of the best Thai restaurants in NYC. I like the environment, and the staff was very friendly. We tried Soup, Beef Fried rice, Pad Thai (chicken), and Drunken Noodles (chicken). All of them were very delicious, and we enjoyed our food a lot. I heard that their mango sticky rice is very good, I will try this on my next visit. If you like Thai I will recommend you to try this restaurant.
Kin'd Thai Restaurant offers authentic Thai cuisine with a diverse menu. I particularly enjoyed the duck noodle soup, calamari salad, crab meat fried rice, shrimp tamarind, and mango sticky rice. Everything was fresh and well-prepared. I also noticed they have a complete bar, so I plan to return to sample their drinks next time. Overall, I give the food a perfect 5/5!
