We had a wonderful experience at King Kong Sushi, thanks to the warm and accommodating staff who made dining with our baby effortless. Visiting on a friend's recommendation, we were delighted by everything. Our server, Ireland, was outstanding—very knowledgeable and skillfully guided us through the menu, customizing our meal to suit my wife's tastes. Our older son also enjoyed his rolls, despite losing a dumpling to the chopsticks! All dishes were fresh and beautifully presented, with the Rocket Roll standing out for its incredible texture and flavor. We’ll definitely be returning!
I've visited King Kong Sushi a couple of times and was impressed by their extensive menu. I sampled several dishes, with the Caterpillar Roll standing out as my favorite. The prices are reasonable, and the food quality lives up to expectations. I like the overall ambiance, and while the staff are polite, they aren’t especially friendly or attentive. It can take about 10 minutes for someone to check in after you place an order. All in all, if you have some time and want good sushi, this spot is worth a visit.
It was a busy Saturday night but we didn't have a long wait and definitely enjoyed our food here. The sushi was not the best I've ever had in my life but it was good. The soft shell crab was on point, really loved that. The shrimp siu mai was alright.My highlight that evening surprisingly was actually the ginger dressing for my salad! That was by far the tastiest gingerdressing I've ever had! Most likely will be back if we're visiting Myrtle Beach again.
I almost did not want to review this wonderful Sushi Restaurant out of fear that it would result in tourists overcrowding the place. This place had some of the best sushi I have eaten in my travels at a very reasonable price. Service was quick and the quality was spot on. I give this place 10 out of 10 for food taste and quality, 10 out of 10 for service, and 8 out of 10 for restaurant layout and set up.

This restaurant is amazing! The food is delicious and the service is excellent. My wife is a big fan of the Sakai. I really enjoy the high tables, and the bar service is consistently top-notch! I highly recommend it to locals and especially to tourists who are seeking a unique local experience.
King Kong Sushi offers absolutely delicious food and outstanding service. This sushi spot is one of my favorites, especially because of its convenient location near the beach. Make sure to check out their menu and don't miss the Jalapeno bombs—you definitely won’t regret it!
Great food and great service. I can't remember the servers name but dark hair and going to school, in her early 20s. She was fantastic, knowledgeable and humored my uncle with his silly jokes. Great time, would return.
Sushi was fresh and delicious and so was the salad. The clear soup needed some work, as it had no flavor this visit (usually a hit). Our server was in training but did a great job!
