Our early impressions were very poor. The waitress asked us if we would like anything to drink. We asked about a wine menu. We were informed they did not have a wine menu but she would go and ask what was available. After she made about three trips back and forth to the bar we settled on a choice of wine. Having looked at the menu all 4 of us decided to order the choice of potato " stuffed baked" that was listed on the menu. While placing our order we were informed that due to recent changes this option now cost $1.50 extra even though the menu listed it as an included option. Were there at 5pm and they were already out of baked potatoes. Waitress was unfamiliar with menu and had to read it several times to complete our order. She also had a runny nose, sniffles and should not have been handling food. Very unappetizing atmosphere. She wore a black knitted fringed poncho that was pilled and you could see hair on it and when she reached across the table the fringes would drag in our plates of food. My wifes wine glass had a price tag on the bottom, making you wonder how well it had been washed. The Kingfisher Inn has for many years been a great place to stay, where you would receive friendly service coupled with wholesome home cooked style food, however when management changed a few years back so in turn did the service. Now that it is now back under the management of Jim Chute it is back giving customers the type of supreme service they deserve. Just stayed there last weekend and wow!!!! its a must to try out this summer
This restaurant was recommended by some people we stayed with when visiting Canada. After eating here I really see why they wished to eat here!The food is really good and not expensive. The staff also is nice and service-minded. The restaurant has a nice and cosy atmosphere, making it enjoyable to sit down there and have a good meal. A good choice for good food and nice premises!

Overall a nice stay with friendly staff who were very helpful. Wifi was great and fast. A lot of parking space. Outside entrance to rooms available. Good pressure shower. AC/heater worked well. No breakfast included but pay restaurant on site. Thank you to front desk Ian, head house keeper Judy and her staff for making my stay comfortable and affordable.
Had the brunch buffet when I went there with my wife. Good food they offered a variety and stuff u wouldn't think of for a buffet. Had scrambled eggs, perogies, sausage, bacon, cabbage rolls and a pasta. Coffee and juice offered with buffet and all u can eat for reasonable price. Deserts and fruit also offered
We stayed there in march and it was just under new management , the food was great in the new Mr.Ribs restaurant , and it opened at six am . The people were friendly and helpful , and for 90 bucks how could you go wrong , and the live band. In the bar was superb
New people in the restaurant not long ago .food okay some new wait staff just learning but doing well.Also has VLTs and a bar attached as well as the hotel. because we live in nipawin dont know how the rooms are but understand they have been renovated.

Food is awesome at the new Mr. Ribs in hotel and the service was awesome. Went to the bar in the hotel was fun overall experience was fabulous thanks for the night out
Both food and service were fine. A good variety on the menu at reasonable prices. Clean and comfortable.
