I was a bit disappointed with the roast. The menu advertised that the pork would come with crackling, but it was missing, and the vegetables were overcooked. When I mentioned this to the staff, they casually said they didn’t have crackling that day and didn’t even apologize. The staff seemed indifferent; they noticed my toddler but didn’t bring over a children’s menu until I asked for it. My husband ordered a burger, which he found tasteless. It’s a shame because this pub is close to us, and we really wanted to like it. Price per person: £10–20. Food: 1, Service: 1, Atmosphere: 3.
we came to lunch today and we loved it. food quality is really high and the portions are quite generous. the lunch is absolutely comfortable with starter and head at £14 (and as said are not small portions. the staff is friendly and very friendly, very nice atmosphere :
