Often in life it is the spontaneous events that turn out to be some of the most interesting. What was meant to be a quick drink in the Kings Head in search of some bars that might be showing the English Premier League turned out to be a much longer than planned evening, with some great pub food and an entertaining and enjoyable night largely down to the pub manager and the locals from Wuppertal.
I had many great nights here at the King's Head. Greg's a great guy and the staff are all amazing. You can get very interesting beers here from the UK. They also make nice English pub food and even curries.
Tasty Indian snacks Vada pav, Onion bhajiya and Samosa goes great with delicious cider beer. The kitchen not the bar) is closed on Sunday, Monday and Tuesday.
Nice, nostalgic with good selection. Great place for a Sunday afternoon ! Draft and select bottles with some pub food, worth a sample.
