Any local knows that KVD is the place!! My friend and I had brunch here today, as we have many times before! Pancakes, scrambled eggs, bacon, home fries! Always excellent service, and great food! I was disappointed that they now charge an extra fee for credit card purchases as opposed to cash. This was made clear on the tab and I understand... Just be forewarned that you will be charged a fee if using a credit card as opposed to cash!.
The food was delicious and the wait for it was quite reasonable. The ambiance was vibrant and appealing, with plenty of interesting pictures adorning the walls. Among them was a picture of the White House, and the colorful decor extended to the restroom as well, which added to the lively atmosphere. Overall, it's a really lovely place to dine.
The service was excellent, and our waiter was very friendly. The ambiance was pleasant, although some booths had lighting that was a bit too bright. The food was outstanding, especially the breakfast items we had for dinner. I'm definitely going back for the pancakes!

Would have been good besides the fact that I ordered a pancake combo with a side of Hollandaise for the eggs and it arrives at my job minus Hollandaise, butter and syrup. Basically everything needed to enjoy it.
Great diner! The food is tasty and reasonably priced. I appreciate that there are more options than the typical diner. While it may not be extraordinary, it's definitely a reliable choice that never disappoints.
